You Look Like a Thing and I Love You by Janelle Shane, written in 2019 is a non-fiction book about AI and its state at the time. I learned of this book through the Acknowledgements section of Service Model by Adrian Tchaikovsky and was glad I picked it up.

Service Model by Adrian Tchaikovsky is a dystopian science fiction novel written from the perspective of a robot valet. During the course of the story we follow the robot (Charles) as he's forced to experience the world at large after his employment at a manor house comes to an end after an unfortunate event.
